x23j slideout issue
Our TT is beside the house. We have had the slideout extended for the last couple of days. Yesterday, it was in the 80's, today it's in the 50's. With weather moving in this weekend I went to close the slideout. There was a rubbing sound that I have not heard before. Had my son hit the "in" switch on the slideout while I was underneath to investigate the noise. It appears the bottom of the slideout was rubbing against the rubber seal gasket on the bottom of the slideout opening. As the slideout continues in, the gaset, (flap) eventually folds in with the slideout. Can anyone tell me if this is "normal"? We have had the TT for a year now and had it out a number of weekends with no issues. I realize that the trailer should be level when using the slideout. The first thing I did upon hearing the noise was to raise the hitch end using the power jack. Trailer appears to be fairly level. Might it be the colder temp.?
Any comments, suggestions or ideas are greatly appreciated.
