110 a/c when storing?

Hello all, Sorry before hand for asking a question that has probably been asked 100 time before. Tried to look in previous threads for this but could not find.

When we are not using our Seneca, is it a good idea to plug the motor home into 110 power to keep the batteries charged? If yes should the inverter switch be on?

Thank you
Mike

If you have access plug it in. The charger may wear out a little earlier (most likely not a concern) but keeping the batteries charged will make them last longer. If not disconnect them so they don't drain...

Would it be better to use a battery tender directly to the battery? Also is there any unforeseen problems hooking up the coach to 110 a/c or 30A when it will except 50A?

During the winter (months of storage) that is what I did to mine with the batteries off. However between trips (like right now) I just have it plugged in. It is a personal call...

No problem but you will have limited use of electrical appliances when on 120 volt, 15 or 20 amp service. Make sure what else is on the circuit doesn't cause your breaker to trip.

Good Luck.
