12- volt TV

Looking for a quality 12-volt LED TV.... what do you recommend?

I just don't see using my 120-volt tv with a 300-watt inverter anymore.

Mine is locked up for the winter but we have a 19 inch tv with dvd player that runs on 12 volt. It is 720P and we don't care. We check the weather and have a couple of movies we have seen for that odd rainy day where we are stuck inside.

As we don't have the space, want the weight or the cost it did it for us $89 at Menards last year. A definite cheapo but fine for it's purpose.

Don't buy a crappy Jensen or Furrion. Maybe something from this page:

Not sure if I understand you inverter comment. We have a 120v television on a 75 watt inverter, and it works just fine. When we have electric at a campsite, we go straight in, but if we're boondocking, we run the tv through the inverter that's dedicated to it.

Advantage is that we can choose from a lot more televisions.

We have the Axess from that page. We expected crap for the price. It is now four years old and some 75000 miles bouncing around in the wardrobe( it is not wall mounted) and aside from the 12 v plug it works fine.. That 12 v connection decided not to make contact ( think it is something in the female wall part). We jury rigged a 12 v adapter from the car to work with the other plug.

No complaints except the screen cannot really be seen from a wide angle. You pretty much have to be in front of it.

Take a look at this video. They have a regular tv running without an Invertor. I hear it’s cheaper. https://youtu.be/TBKznSd7cfw

I have a 19 inch Vizio that uses 12 volts from its own power inverter that plugs into the 120 volt wall outlet. It would be perfect for using a hacked 12 volt supply cord.
