1st real trip & our EMS already put to the test!

We have an external EMS. A storm rolled in out of nowhere. Pretty heavy rain and lightning. Our AC stopped working which is how we knew something happened.

By the time DH got out there it was reading 0A, obviously during the time delay to turn back on.

No clue what the issue was...I guess there's not a way to recall the error code if you get out there too late?

Regardless, we'd call that a worthwhile purchase!

A past error code is only available if there was NOT a power interruption at the pedestal. For all errors that do not involve a power loss from the pedestal they will be available. Low or high voltage errors would still be available.

So, if the park lost power, there wouldn't be an error code.

But if there was some other issue, how long would the code be available?

Past codes will be available until power has been removed from the EMS. ie:Unplugged.

Even with the power being lost at the pedestal, your EMS is still saving your a/c by having the 2 1/2 minute delay before it sends power to your rig.

I actually have 2 EMS-PT50C's. One in service and a spare still in the box to use if/when the primary one has to go back for service. I will not plug my rig in to shore power anywhere without one.
