2014 Jay Flight 19 RD 12 volt electrical question

I picked up the trailer on Monday. This afternoon I discovered that the bathroom 12 Volt ceiling light doesn't work. Checking revealed that the positive wire is dead. The negative wire lights the test light when checked with the fan positive wire. The positive wire to the light is a pinkish red wire. Does that wire go back to the inverter/fuse panel? The fuse is ok. I plan to temporarily power the light from the ceiling fan and use the negative wire that is at the fixture. I'll isolate the positive wire to the light. I looked, but couldn't locate a wiring diagram for my trailer. If it is on a post, I'd appreciate the link. Any suggestions would be appreciated. I guess that I shouldn't have expected a trailer with nothing to fix.

Ok, my schematic's not being cooperative to attach, so by description...

12 volt fuse #3 is the bathroom. a 14 ga purple wire goes directly to the power roof vent, then to the wall switch, from there to the ceiling lights. If you have a working vent fan, the fuse will be good. It's the bulbs, wall switch, or a connection between them. I have nothing else on that circuit. I hope this makes a little sense.

Wall switch! What wall switch? THE ONE ON THE WALL SOMEWHAT OUT OF SIGHT! Wow, did you make my month! Everything is great. We hadn't noticed tha wall switch. Nothing is disturbed. I'll put the trim pieces back on and continue cleaning and checking. Thank you ever so much. I'll get up early and button it up in the morning.

You're very welcome. Glad to help, it's what we all do here.

You can contact Jayco customer service, and ask for the schematics they have for your 19RD. Give them the VIN# and usual year and model, and they will send/email what they have. I asked in May 2017, for ours, and some of them were already purged from their system. I did get the 12 volt, 120 volt, and plumbing. They are only schematics, and somewhat vague in areas.

I have two emails in to the company, but haven't heard back yet. I'll keep whatever they send me. The previous owner will be delivering some documentation in the next week or two. She is also bringing the remotes for the TV and entertainment system. When I have replaced all the bulbs with led lights and fill the tanks with propane, we'll be ready to run over to our closest fishing reservoir for a first over night trip. We were camp hosts years ago, so none of this is new. What's new is such a beautiful trailer.

Sounds great. We sooo love our little guy. We spend most of our time outside, so we really don't need a bigger, more complicated one. When we do get pushed inside by a storm, it's nice to sit on the sofa, and put our feet up on the dinette seat. Almost like having a built in ottoman. The pooch has deemed the sofa as his bed, so we put a dog cover on it for him. He's not too spoiled!

Aha! Here's the 12 volt schematic for ours. I'll see about getting the other two on here for you, if Jayco has purged the 2014s.

Getting these figured out for you. The 120 volt, and plumbing schematics.
