Hi, I am a new JAYCO Owner. Bought a 2015 Jayco Flight 267 BHSW last year. I was told that there is a converter on board that convert AC (when Plugged in and I assume when on AC Generator) back to batteries to keep them charged. When the Converter is working correctly what would I measure for voltage across the pair of 12 VDC batteries. If I am plugged in to the house is it a waste of time to hook up a secondary battery charger to these same 2 batteries???
If plugged into your house, and the converter/charger is working correctly, you should get voltages in the mid 13s, depending on the type of charger on the rig. A fully charged battery, NOT on a charger, should read at least 12.6 volts.
