My dish searches for 5 minutes and a program is visible but the dish searches for an aditional 5 minutes before it is happy with a signal strength of 22-25 out of a possible 125 on the stregth bar ( 20% seems low ) I never get HD only SD signal and the best part is that I havent moved since having a signal ( if I switch from the generator off and the inverter on it is only off for a few seconds but it requires the same 10 minutes to start up - I have never tryed to use it in motion because it bareley works sitting still - is this normal? we are very frustrated with this system
Have never seen the value or need for in motion sat tv, if its the big game, pull over in a rest area. If you want the kids to watch something, use a dvr or memory stick with recorded movies. I have dish and use both tripod mounted dishes and a pathway x2 auto unit and have excellent results with both.
