2018 rsts kitchen slider

My kitchen slider is becoming more difficult to retract. Youtube videos say the mechanism needs to be lubed but the owner's manual says not to apply any lubricant. Any advice?

I don't think it's lubrication, I think maybe one of the motors are going up. Just a hunch..

I would certainly lube everything….made a lot of difference on mine…I lube about every 4 months….I also expect your kitchen slide is the heaviest slide….be sure you have proper battery power…..after I changed from 2 - 12 volt batterie# to 4 - 6 volt batteries…no more slide problems……
