2018 rsts solar or battery monitor decal

Does anyone know what the decal that is located next to the command center just inside the entry door is for? It is labeled "Wired for Solar" but I'm not sure if it is the location for a solar component or for a battery monitor. Any help would be appreciated.

The cables are supposed to be behind that sticker. Sometimes they are hard to find. You are supposed to mount your controller there. Most don't and put it closer to the batteries.

I'm not an electrician or knowledgeable about solar. Is this controller you're talking about part of the solar set up or is it like a battery monitor that tells you how much power you are using, how much time the batteries have left, the rate of charge, etc.?

It would be the controller if you installed solar on the roof. The cables go to a port prinstalled on the roof and to the batteries.

I installed my own controller and panels. Wires are the following
Red and back to roof ( No Voltage) Back and Red to breaker in Generator bay top drivers side 50A breaker. The wires are not connected both have wire nuts.
Cut hole, pull up wires, the voltage set goes to the battery of the controller the other will go to the roof. Panels plug in to roof top. Total time about 4 hours

Thanks for your reply. I don't have roof solar panels so I'm wondering if I can use this location in the trailer and some of the prewired wires to install a regular battery monitor. Also, I do have a small (100 watt) portable solar panel that I plug into the plug located on the front of the trailer near the tongue. My panel does charge the battery but do I need to install a solar controller or is that already part of the prewire package installed by the manufacturer? Again, my trailer is a Jayco Eagle, Model 330 RSTS. Thanks again.

Yeah, that's a "The wires are somewhere within this wall" sticker.

There is no factory installed controller unless you have the factory installed panels.
