32" led tv powered by inverter

Got a new 28' TT. Had a 32" led jenson TV. There is a 12v power supply in entertainment area. Wanting to plug an inverter into this socket and fun my tv off battery when TT not hooked to 110v. Anyone with info ?

We replaced the 32" Jensen with a 12-volt 32" Jensen (kept our eye on ads to get a good $); we're still working on optimizing our "entertainment center" features and functions (DH is puttering around). We are using the original TV elsewhere in our house.

Don't think the wiring for that 12 cig plug is large enough for an inverter since it also powers the ant amp and maybe even a couple lights.

I plugged a 75w Motomaster Eliminator inverter in to run my 32" Rca led and a portable DVD player.

Probably all you will need is something around 300WATT or less PSW Inverter. That plug you are referring to has a 6AMP rating I think it is. If you blow that fuse your OTA TV setup on the roof will stop working...

I installed my low wattage Power Inverter direct wired to the battery and then run a couple of 120VAC Multi-head Extension cords with one going to the home entertainment area and the other one going to a table near the main bedroom. We run both our LED TV's off this with ease plus a whole bunch of othe low wattage items like Computer - Tablets and Cell phone Chargers etc....

Being PSW this allows anything 120VAC can be plugged into them with fear of going up in BLUE SMOKE... Anything with motors like fans and electronics are prone to overheat and go up in blue smoke if you are using the MSW Power Inverters... LED TVs may have strange hum in the audio and lines in the view area... Alot of folks use the MSW Inverters but I would not trust my high dollar items using one...(Just me yaking)

Once you try this this you will want to add a few more things to the Power Inverter to run when you are not on shore power... Trust me haha... Momabear likes her lap electric blanket while sitting and watching TV - works great...

I ended up with a 600WATT PSW AIMS Power Inverter (AMAZON for $150 - may be less now)... They only draw maximum power when you have them loaded down...

A very neat and very handy feature to add to the trailer for sure...

IF your TV has an external power supply check out its specs. The TV we got last Nov, from bestbuy, actually operated on 12VDC. The power pack just collects dust now as we use the 12V plug instead.
