33RLDS Electric Fireplace

I have the ledgestone fireplace in my 33 rlds and I don't have the led screen in the top right corner of the fireplace. Is this normal? How do I set the temp and timer without a display showing me what the settings are at?

It should display for you. Sounds like a repair job is needed.

Ours doesn't either. What did you see to suggest something should be there?

Ours has 2 rocker switches, one for the look, the other for the heat. There's also a thermostat wheel for temp that you adjust for comfort - warm enough, dial down till you hear the click. Opposite if you need more heat and there's no warmth coming out.

The timer and temp show up on ours. I would have a dealer check it out.

I have a call in at the dealer and should have an answer sometime today.

I don't know what model it is,the manual covers 4 different models and none were specified.I called Jayco directly and they told me it doesn't have a display and when I gave them the vin she told me it just shows up as a 23Twin Star.I called twin Star and they don't take tech questions over the phone just via chat box on the computer. What kind of customer service is that? For the life of me I don't understand how you can manufature a product with a variable heat element with a thermostat setting of 60-80 deg and not show where its setting is at? Same for selecting between deg and celsius and the timer function.

If you can please post or pm me your model number so I can see if it's the same one as I have in my TT. I can't imagine that not haveing a readout or dial is correct.
Thanks.

Its the High Pointe model EM925RWW. Still works great but we found one of our air mattress was chewed up by, I guess, a mouse. Not sure where he got it from and have no signs of them other than the holes in the mattress

Yesterday after getting back from camping I pulled the fireplace insert out and saw the model number and brand on the back it's a Twin Star. Wanting to look into the issue I unscrewed the back cover to the fireplace and noticed inside that the LED display was infact there but just laying inside.Apparently what happened was the double sided tape that was used to adhear the LED display lost it's adheasion and caused the display to fall off thus causing not to be able to see it.That was infact good news since Home Depot is only 5 minutes away and my dealer is 4 hrs away in Rochester.
Problem solved and good to know incase someone else has this issue.
Thanks for taking the time 33RLDS to look at your model # for me.

We have the readout and the remote with four buttons. Temp Is set at 72degrees if you turn on the heat module. You can also set the time in half hour increments to automatically turn off. Can also just turn on the fireplace look without the heat.

You should be able to adjust your temp as well.
