50 amp camper 30 amp site

What does everyone do when they camp at a site that has only 30 amp service if you have a 50 amp camper?

Use an adapter such as this:

Use an adapter and just watch what you turn on. The biggest problem would be trying to run both air-conditioners.

Cheater Box for a 50 amp RV

Get one of these:

https://www.amazon.com/Progressive-I.../dp/B003AN1UF8

Put one of the legs in the 30 Amp and the other in the 20 Amp. We can run two A/C's, but turn off one of the A/C units when using microwave or the electric hot water heater.

If the power pedestal has a ground fault breaker or a ground fault outlet on the 20 amp circuit then the above combiner will not work. Using it will trip the ground fault as soon as both the 30 amp and 20 amp circuits are turned on.

Well, apparently, the site we were on at the time, didn't have the GFI. We don't need it anymore because the campground put in all new pedestals with 50 amp.
