50 amp to 15 amp adaptor - feed both legs?

Just wondering from you guys that have 50 amp coaches, has anyone used this type adaptor to plug into 115 volt 15 amp line at your house to power the coach?

I know you can't run any high amperage equipment (like A/C) on a 15 amp line, but to power up the fridge to get it cold or charge batteries, what does the adaptor do. Does it feed both legs on the 4 prong, 50 amp circuit, or just one leg, being it's only rated at 15 amps?

The 50a to 15 adapter feeds both legs of the 2- 50a breakers with the itty bitty 15a source thru the adapter. You have a total of 15a to share with everything in the camper. Exceed it and a breaker will trip.

Before I wired my parking spot with 30a, I used a 15a breaker in the same manner to keep my batteries topped off and provide lighting. It worked well as long as you know it's limitations. I still have limitations with 30a but I can use one ac on a limited basic in addition.

Thanks guys, that's what I thought. So, the 15 amp is actually feeding both sides of the 50 amp buss at the same time.
