921 bulb replacement?
Any suggestion for a brighter bathroom counter bulb? Some LEDs are directional.

which Led's did you purchase?
the OP may like to see them
most cheaper 921 replacements I have seen only have 120 lumens

got bulbs thru overlandsolar all info is on site and you can talk to Brian himself for tech.info Plus he was running a10% off sale bulbs were under $7 each
Checked with my jayco dealer...chineesey bulbs are over $20 a pop!

I think most Napa auto parts stores would be able to tell you how many candle power a simular bulb would be. If you stick with an incondesent bulb, you should be careful and look for signs of melting plastic lenses...

I've seen it, especially in older trailers. First they start to turn yellow, and some I've seen have even started melting the lens shape. Those things put off a ridiculous amount of heat, especially if you leave them on for long periods.

I don't detect any "blue" or "cool white" in my trailer. I have had that issue before with the low cost eBay options but not these. The pictures I posted are are what you get. I intentionally tried to find pictures that would show comparison to the OEM halogen in both color and light output.
The M4products elite series are also very nice -- but more than I cared to spend when replacing 20+ bulbs.

As stated, it can happen. What I was trying to say is if you go with an incondesant 921 look-a-like with more candle power, you will need to really pay attention to the additional heat they will produce. I have also seen where the sockets (over time) start to sag. I suspect between gravity and all the bumps the camper gets while driving down the road plays a role in that, so maybe that is how the lenses get discolored and melt on older units, but with a higher candle power bulb, the additional heat alone may be enough to cause it to happen
