Here is a neat pictorial showing the typical RV Roof Mounted Air conditioner.



You can see the 14" x 14" roof gasket here. These are the only four long bolts that holds the roof mounted air conditioner in place.

You can drop the bottom assembly cover and see the compressed roof gasket. My OFF-ROAD POPUP trailer A/C roof gasket comes loose alot and needs re-tightened. I guess this has to do with running over rough roads alot... I just make sure the four long bolts are tightened enough to compress the 14" x 14" roof gasket by at least a 1/4-inch...

Thanks, ALL, for your help; those are some great pictures and illustrations. That was indeed the problem, 4 loose screws.
