Ac not sitting flush

Good morning all,
Got a question, the ac on our 26.5 it doesn't look like it's sitting flush with the roof. Looks to be a 1" gap between the ac flashing and the roof.
Just doesn't look right to me.

I will get on the roof tonight and take a pic and post it here.
Thanks
Gary

Most roof ac units have a foam gasket that should only be compressed about 1/2 way.
Take the plastic shroud off the inside and check the tightness of the bolts.
There should be an indicator as to how far to compress gasket.

This should be checked twice a year, I have found ours loose on more than one occasion.

Thank you!
I will check this evening.

This is a used 2014 unit and when we got it, I thought I went through it pretty good.
There is no water damage anywhere, so I don't believe it leaks.
Thanks again
Gary

Here are some pics. Looks to me that it is more than a 1/2 " gap.

Looks normal to me. Sometimes they tend to sag a bit in the back due to weight of compressor and such, but still not a huge deal. But, do Do keep an eye on the rear portion, as you don't want that metal pan rubbing the roof.

That's how both of mine sit on my trailer. Minus the the rear sag, but I too will watch for that.

Here is a pic of one of the 4 corner bolts as well as the indicator tab. Just snug the bolts down lightly and do not over tighten and check them twice a year.
If you look to the left you'll see a water stain and I cought this leak just in time and I check twice a year. The life of that gasket is approx. 5 years so I changed it out.
