Adding battery cutoff

I'd like to install a battery cutoff switch at the battery since there are components drawing some power when the factory switch is off. Left the trailer for 10 days and found the battery dead. My question is, will the auto-level zero setting be lost and re-calibration required each time I re-connect? Can't think of anything else that might be an issue. Just have to remember to turn on each time we tow for the emergency breakaway switch.

I'm fixing to do the same thing DrSmart and had the same thoughts you do … then I thought about it and remembered that I have removed/disconnected my battery on several occasions for service and that did not "confuse" the auto-level system.
