Adjustable water pressure regulator

Okay today my brother showed up at my house bering gifts. He bought me a adjustable water pressure gauge for my trailer. Sweet !!!
Question is it is factory set at 45 psi is this a good pressure for the trailer? Or should i take it up some? Will find out what the line pressure is when i hook it up in a bit.
Thanks
Robert

Mine is a Watts and I leave it on 50psi. Most cg's we frequent do not have that much but we have seen up to 100 in a few spots.

In our manual that came with the trailer it said that the system was checked at 100 psi to make sure there was no leaks. I just bought a new non adjustable one which is set to 50 psi which is perfect for us too.

I keep mine set at 55 psi. I think that any where between 45-60 would be ok. I think that the weak part in the set up are the fittings and not the lines themselves. I have read more about failed fittings and objects like back flow preventer.

Adjustable water pressure regulator

Thanks for the replies.
Looks like i don't have to worry about it at my seasonal site since i checked the pressure and it is only 42 psi.
Gonna be nice having one since some camp grounds have some high pressure.

Agreed! I think our in-line water filter may also cut down on a few pounds of pressure.

Beware of "when" you check you inlet pressure. Depending on time of day and demand I've seen city water pressure increase at night by as much as 30psi or more late at night at some of my business accounts. No reason not to believe campgrounds wouldn't be the same. Just a word of caution.
