air conditioners not blowing cold air

we're in el paso(hot). just discovered neither of my two units are blowing cold off genny power. blows ambient air that's all. breakers good. vents open. thermostats set right. no the filters aren't dirty!!! i don't detect an audible change in the genny when the compressor is supposed to kick in on cool mode.

any ideas? what is common to both units to exhibit the same problem. i'm stumped. they were working when i bought it two months ago!!

we're desperately uncomfortable. HELP!!!

Is the unit 30-amp with the load-management system? If it is, I wonder if there is an issue with its control of the compressors?

yessir, the panel says 80 amps with both units running. how this is possible with a 30 a service is beyond my technical ability. anyway, the units' compressors don't seem to engage. any ideas on what to do? thanks

Another question - Did they work properly before and this problem has recently developed or is this the first time you have tried to use them?

another question do/did they work when plugged into shore power?

one problem is the AC itself the other is a generator electrical issue ... you need to know which one to fix...
