Another power tongue jack thread

I've looked and could not find the information I need to restore the 12v power to the tongue jack and inside lighting.
The problem started when running the jack up to high and obviously blew a fuse, but where is the fuse?
I've checked the fuses in the converter and all are good. I've looked at the wiring on the tongue and there is no in line fuse there either.
Does anyone know where this fuse is located on a X23B trailer?

thanks

Based on my experience in this post http://www.jaycoowners.com/forums/f3...ing-37477.html I would locate your jack wire, connect it directly to a 12v source and verify it is working. Then I would take a few minutes to connect it properly with your other 12v trailer/tv connections.

Most I have seen have a 30a inline fuse near the battery end. Also a fuse or resettable breaker on the jack. If it does not have a inline fuse, I would add one!

I would run a jumper from the battery as stated earlier to verify it works, then trace the wire back to the battery.

Jayco started changing over to auto reset fuses on 2016 models. If your jack doesn't have an inline fuse you will have to follow the jack wire along the frame to where it enters the trailer. The fuse will be located inside you will have to look for it. Here is what it looks like.

thanks. I've done more checking and realize I also have no interior lights. Apparently I must have blown a main fuse somewhere.

I'll run a jumper to the jack ans check the operation. I did put a meter on the automatic breaker inside the jack and it appears to be good.

I had time to trace the wires from the battery into the camper and located the inline 30 amp fuse that powers the 12v to the camper.
The fuse is under the dinette seat between the slide out drawer and partition wall of the outside storage. Nice place for a fuse.
You have to remove the plywood that is attached with screws in order to access the fuse.
Doesn't make a lot of sense to put it there.

Since you know where all the wiring is at put another fuse of the same size somewhere in line that is easier to access and then over fuse that one. This way the one that you have easier access to should go first. Make life easy on yourself.

I would put the appropriate fuse back in, run a new power wire to the jack from the battery and put an auto reset breaker fuse inline.
