Antenna Booster issues

For the last two years when I pull our Jayco 29' BHDS out of storage we can't seem to get power to our antenna. I turn on the booster and the green light comes on but I still get no signal on the tv. Last year I thought I burned out our booster by leaving it on all winter. I went to purchase a new one and when I came home from the camping store, disconnected everything and replaced with the new one same thing happened. I had my FIL come over and we put everything original back in and it worked all season with no issues. Now this year I plugged the camper in and turned on the booster and the green light came on but AGAIN not signal. Any ideas would be helpful. I did notice that the plastic sheathing on the coax outside is cracked in a few places. I do have the King brand antenna on, we bought last year thinking that was our issue last year. I am not seeing a red light on the antenna either.

Sounds like a bad connection.. try re-crimping all the electrical connections

If the green light comes on on the TV WALL PANEL this tells you are getting 12VDC ok... When you installed the KING antenna in place of the BATWING I am assuming you did not use the KING provided power adapter that plugs into 120VAC . This is not needed if you have the Antenna Wall panel... The WALL PANEl provides the 12VDC and all you needed to do was just plug in the RG cable to the KING antenna.

The King antenna also has a RED light that comes on under the amplifier that you can see if 12VDC is making it up to the antenna. You might look for that...

Correct Roy I did not connect any other power options to the antenna. I am not getting the red light to turn on, on the antenna. This weekend I am going to try and replace the coax from the power booster to the antenna.

Check for 12vdc across the coax on the roof from below with the pre-amp switch on. From the shield to the center conductor should be 12vdc. If not, it's the head.

Before I would replace any coax I would check at the ANTENNA WALL PLATE. Remove the connector there going to the OTA antenna and measure across the PANEL connector for 12VDC when the Antenna WALL PLATE is ON. If you don't have it here then there is something wrong with Antenna Wall Plate circuit board...

Be careful working around the 12VDC cable plugged into the back of the board near where you will be removing the OTA antenna connector. This will be HOT 12VDC...
