Anyone know what this is?

On a 1989 Terry. Battery Isolator? Brake controller?

Mystery box?

Yeah Tekonsha makes brake controllers and such. Could be a breakaway switch.

Uranium ? Pah, wimpy stuff... any Martian worth his salt would know to use Iludium...

More prosaically. .. is it connected to anything? From your picture, it looks like there could be wires attached to the rear of it...?

That would be my guess, too.

Wow! I thought all of those had been returned or confiscated. So the word out, is that it a clandestine alpha test of “unobtanium.” This version would give off heat and produce a measurable upward force when moved orthogonal to the direction of the arrow. So you pull the trailer and the trailer tongue gets “lighter.” Unfortunately, excessive speed made the trailer tongue lift the TV causing loss of control, and so they were quickly withdrawn. There is no word about the real results of the test and many considered it a fake, just like this post.
