Anyone replace white LEDs with color dimmable?

The white LEDs that our under both of our awnings are nice but pretty bright. My wife even noticed they light up the neighbors site. Has anyone replaced theirs with color that are dimmable? I have these on my pole barn patio and they work great.

Amazon Link

My guess is the power supply that comes with the kit wouldn't be needed but the white controller will to change colors and brightness. I think the biggest challenge will be how to connect RV power to the white controller which might be easy.

The power supply (PS) can be used if you are going to supply it with 120, but would be pointless and wasteful (goes from the battery 12v to inverter 120v back thru power supply to drop back to 12v) The white controller, cut the end that plugs into the PS, and there is your positive and negative, hopefully they are labeled. If they aren't, hook it up and if it doesn't work, reverse the leads (wont do any damage if hooked up backwards)

I purchased the identical item in your link last week. After installation, they worked great for a few hours, then I was unable to turn off the blue segment of the LED strip. The item was dirt cheap, so I ordered a new remote and controller but opted for an RF module instead of the IR. Hopefully I'll have better luck.
When it worked in those few hours, it was perfect, and the LEDs could be dimmed to a pleasant level.

When I first bought I had a section that one color wouldn't turn on and Amazon replaced. It's been a year since then and these run every morning and evening and haven't had any problems.

That is the kit I used on my awning but if you look around Amazon you will find they sell them without the power converter for about 1/2 the price

I can't find any w/o the power supply but with the controller. Do you have a link to any?
