Anyone with Water Leak Experience

Does anyone have experience with water backing up and flooding the camper? I have a 2013 32 Jay Flight BHDS. The valve for the toilet stuck and ran water all night. Ran out of toilet onto floor and to the underbelly. Had to cut the underbelly to get water to drain and install fans to dry. My question is do I need to take it to the dealer to do a full inspection and repair. My initial conversation with insurance is that it would be a comprehensive claim and shouldn't count against my rates. If anyone has experience with insurance claims and has advice that would be greatly appreciated as well.
