Atwood water heater issue

Hi. Having an issue with the WH. Best word I can find to describe it is that the burner is "sputtering". It's not burning cleanly it seems. At low altitude so doubt that's an issue. Recommendations?

I have no explanation for this except it worked for me. Once in awhile at the beginning of the Season or after a long dormant period My gas WH would not ignite. If I hit it with a stream of canned air like you use on a computer keyboard, it would light. Cobwebs or dust, whatever, I don't know, but it cleared something away . Worth a shot.

Check the tube for obstructions.. Adjust the air mix.
