An older thread but wanted to acknowledge those that contributed by bumping it.
I received the third "piece to the puzzle" today when my Hughes Autoformer arrived. I already had a PI surge protector that was an emergency backup to my portable EMS as well as a 25' extension cord so the autoformer was the only missing piece.
Sadly, I don't think I have sufficient room in our TT to install both a hard wired EMS and the autoformer inside, but will be investigating that shortly and will at least get a hardwired EMS installed to limit what is underneath and make things a little less noticeable.
So thanks to everyone for their comments, ideas and suggestions in this thread. Made my implementation a lot easier and my life a lot less stressful because I have a game plan that should work out just fine for now, but more importantly, no longer have to worry about the EMS cutting power to the RV due to low voltages during the times the DW is watching or recording her soaps!
