Awning lights

New Jayco. Is it common that the awning lights are wavy like this or should they be straight. Dealer service rep says the light strip is stitched into the fabric. They're checking to see if Jayco would replace the awning. Not my idea. Such a waste of a perfectly good awning.

Is the LED strip now stitched to the flap that hangs down or the very end of the awning? That sure produces an ugly effect. My 2017 Greyhawk has the LEDs on the metal roller (I think) and they are perfectly straight.

When the awning is out, the LED strip is along the trailer wall. I didn't have a ladder handy to go up and have a closer look at the stitching.

Can't tell by the picture, but LED light strip slide in the grove of the holder. Is the lights are out of the grove or the holder is detached from the awning?

You paid for normal working and looking lights.

Ours are slightly wavy - definitely not as bad as yours. And when the awning is out, not as noticeable either.

Mine look like that also and now have quit working. Is there an in-line fuse? I have only turned then on 3 times and now they don’t work. Ugh...any ideas?
Thanks

I have been up close with mine. Yes, mine are stitched too. Yes, mine will flicker also. And yes, I have had to re-thread (bad roads cause them to shake loose in the poor designed holder) my LED's strip back into the holder. It is what it is, I just wish they would have put a dimmer on them.

Mine used to be so bright it was almost enough to give you a burn. Now after 4 years they don't even attract a bug. What a poor design
