Backup/observation camera

Just received my backup camera. I'm sure this has been covered in the forum, but I have not had any luck finding information. Where do you mount the camera on the rear of your unit? Above or below the rear marker lights? I don't believe my unit was prewired for the camera, and my marker lights are a bit below the roof line. Most Utube videos show the camera install with the pre wired units. Thanks in advance for any help.

24 hours in a day, 24 beers in a case. Coincidence? I think not.

I wired mine into the power wire of the center rear marker light on my non-prewired trailer. Then I offset the camera a bit so it wouldn't pick up a possible glare from a running light. My camera comes on when I flip the TV lights on.Click image for larger version

Thanks, stateboy. Looks like an option I can work with. I also want to power the camera from the clearance lights.
