Battery charging experiment.

I have 2 battery banks on our TT. One bank is two 6 volt Trojan batteries. The other bank is two 12 volt Interstate batteries that came with the trailer. We were dry camping Monorial Day weekend. Sunday I had to charge the batteries. I ran one i2000e Honda to charge them for 3 hours and 30 min. I charged the 12 volt batteries on the trailer charger and plugged in my smart charger on the two 6 volt batteries. The Trojans were charged to 90% so I turned off the genny and figured that was good. We ran that night on the 12 volt batteries, the next morning they were almost flat. I do not think they got fully charged. The Trojan took over and were fully charged. I now know for sure the TT charger needs more time to fully charge the batteries. This is just a FYI post I thought was a interesting test.

A only way to tell accurately when your batteries are charged completely or state of discharge is with a battery monitor and not the ones the manufactures install in their rvs

Do not have one of those. I did not have the volt meter or hydrometer with me.
