Battery Setup Advise (Serial + Parallel)

I have seen different layout on the internet and wanted to double check if my connection is correct. I have done the option 1 setup which works fine but not sure if I got the combined Ah.

Are both options the same which will give me 12v and combined Ah of 400?

Thanks!

Either of your diagrams will work, but Option B is simpler.

I would move the (+) connection going to the trailer to the other battery (+) connection, to even out the contribution from each half of the battery bank.

Thanks for your input. I'm having option A right now so I will keep it that way since its correct.

Do I have to move the positive trailer cable to the upper one in this option as well?

It would be a better arrangement. You want to equalize what each part of the battery bank sees as cable resistance. To put a finer point on this, you could also add the 4th cable between the series batteries.
