Blue step light

We just purchased an eagle fifth wheel and was wondering about the step light. Its a 2022 and when we turn the step light on its so dim you cant even see it. I know its on cause I've crawled under trailer to see it is on but its really dim. Anyone have any clue what would cause this?

My 2021 is fairly bright---might be a ground issue.

Ours is dim too. Like Yooper I prefer dim at night but DW prefers super bright so something for me to look into further.

When I say dim I mean almost invisible. I know it’s on but it’s not giving you any light to see the steps by.

Okay. Mine you can see the steps good at night, lights up the steps fairly dim, but you know for sure it's on. Every step is lit up. During the day you won't see any blue light.

Not the same rig, I have a Class C, but I just recently changed the incandescent bulb in my step light to an LED one and it's way brighter.

Possibly a dud from the manufacturer. Without actually seeing it a few possibilities are the LED's aren't installed in it properly, or bad circuitry or, not as likely, poor / corroded wiring connections.
Put it on your warranty "to do" list, surely you will find more issues.
