caulking sides and front cap

After spending Sunday washing and waxing the Tt, I noticed some gaps in the silicone the dealer did after replacing the front wall. My question is should I use mineral spirits or denatured alcohol to clean the area before applying more silicone to the wall.

I used mineral spirits to clean. I wouldn't suggest silicone sealer for anything outside. Dicor leveling caulk for the roof and non-leveling for things on the sides.
