I have the Champion 3500/4000 watt generator and it powers my 15,000 AC just fine. Granted it's not as quiet as the Honda's but it's also quieter than some people's **** dogs barking all weekend long even during (QUIET) hours.

I had a Champion 2000 gen but it would totally dog down at 7000 feet. Last year they didn't offer a jet kit for the carb so I got rid of it and got the Honda 2K. It works perfect at elevation with the high altitude jet they offer. I'd go with Honda if your going to be up high for a 2000 gen.
