Converter making noise

I have a 2014 eagle ht 27.5bhs. I am starting to get it ready for this up coming season. One thing ive notice is the converter in the panel is making a high pitch / humming noise.. I have checked all connections, the fan is working.. I am drawing a blank on what this could be... the only thing I can see it being is something in there is gone bad... has anyone ever had this issue? i am debating on changing the entire panel but am worried itll happen with the new one.

My converter made a louder humming noise and the fan ran almost continuously when my battery went bad. I would check the battery condition before looking into other possibilities. ~CA

Do you think that the battery would cause this issue even while being plugged into 120v power?

Yes, One test could be to disconnect the battery and see if the humming goes away, and the fan stops running as much. The fan should only come on when needed, for example when the converter is working very hard and the heat builds up in it.

I would also suggest to check the condition of the battery.

For the Converter to work it needs to be plugged in. 120 volts in 12 volts out.

Right, I get that. but the noise does exist to when lights are turned on without 120 volt power. It does make sense though. I will check the battery condition out!
