OK, Got my Directv installed at the house. Have the HR54 Genie HD DVR, and also went with the wireless video bridge for the 3 mini receivers, 1 of which will be taken, along with the Genie DVR in the TT.

The mini will be used in the bedroom and the DVR in the living area.

I found a SWiM Slimline dish, but still need to buy a tripod kit.

My understanding is I do not need a power inserter because the HR54 provides the voltage.

So here are some questions on using the setup in the TT.

From looking at the dish mounted on the house and the other one I got for the RV, that the only adjustment is for azimuth and elevation, no tilt. adjustment is needed.

I understand the mast will have to as vertically perfect as possible.

Do you use a app for pointing the dish?

Do you use the signal meter on the TV for aligning, or some other method?

Everyone's input has educated me a lot on what has developed in the 7 years since I last had Directv.

Looking forward to more insight from everyone.
