We have the mud daubers in Northern California to but we call them mud daubers and we also have the paper wasps. The mud daubers keep to them selves mainly but can build rather large condo's in inconvenient places. The paper wasps which are the Apache paper wast variety are mean and build there nest anywhere and everywhere around here. I don't get very many nest on or around the rv just mainly spider nests in the gas tubes of the refer and water heater. I'm trying the irish spring thing. I would like to know about the screens you put in the heater.

The heater screen just covers the opening. Attaches via small springs with hooked ends. Made of stainless mesh.

What wiscamp says...
I was armed with my uncle's story about the daubers plugging up his furnace when we picked ours up at the dealer so we drove out with them. Not much $$$ but it's one of the things that helps me sleep better at night.
I bought the wrong screens for the fridge the first time, make sure you know the brands of furnace, fridge and water heater when you shop.
rwilley, I don't expect any help with the spiders from these screens. The mesh is too big and those critters can get past anything they want.

Thank for the link.

I guess if the Irish Spring doesn't work I guess I can deal with them. They don't make as big of nest as the wasps.
