EDPM Roof repair/maintenance question

I have an Dicor EDPM roof. While cleaning it recently I noticed a very small scuff on the roof. Its about 1" long and 1/2" wide. It is not on an edge or by any type of seam. Looking at it carefully it does not appear that the roof is torn or cut. It just looks roughed up. I am wondering what the best course is to address it. Should I just put a bit of lap sealant on it? Should I use a small patch? Should I use a patch and lap sealant? Sorry I have no pics at this time. Any thoughts would be appreciated.

Its not through the material? Leave it alone and keep an eye on it when you do your maintenance. If it doesn't get any worse, its fine.

If you are worried, or it gets worse, a nice piece of Eternabond tape properly applied will fix it for good.
