Kinda hard to give suggestions with little info.
Were you running a large load, like a electric space heater, or a combination of high draw appliances, blow dryer etc? Sometimes wires get loose or even weren't properly tightened at the factory, loose wires can get very hot.
Best to have it looked at by someone familiar with electrical circuits.
