Electrical plug-in question

My camper doesnt stay at my house. Its at the GF house which has 50/30amp outlets. I am going to bring it to my house and want to run the refrigerator for a few days. Can I use the 30 amp cord and plug into a outside outlet with an adapter ?

Yes. Standard operating procedure.

Only time a problem is if the cord is long and low gauge and the amp use high in the camper. Refer use no problem.

Yes if you have a 30 to 20/15 amp converter plug. BUT don't run the AC or more than fridge if it is a residential fridge. If it is a gas/electric you might be able to run the microwave or TV. It will also keep up your batteries.

Several posts have mentioned the limits on what you can run off the standard house plug vs. a 30 or 50 amp.

Note that whatever you plug into at your house may also have other things already using part of the 15 or 20 available. A good idea is to use a small voltage readout to check that you aren't starving your systems.

I like this one, cheap, simple and works. About $10 at Amazon https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0...e?ie=UTF8&th=1
