The HD antenna requires the antenna booster to be turned on to receive OTA signals. Did you turn it on? Do you have the antenna pointed towards the nearest broadcast tower?

I use antennaweb.org, and enter the zip code where I am, and it will give you the antenna direction to turn and number of stations you might pickup. Hopefully you have a compass.

Also, depending on your TV menu, make sure you're searching "antenna" channels, and not "cable" channels when you auto scan.

Well, I have tried the booster plugged in, but cant get it to go to green. Just red and yellow.
I have searched on every option TV, HDMi 1 and 2 , 3 component..all of them. Plugged into all 3 different outlets out side...
And aimed the antenna the tower...still no joy. Or TV either!

Was hoping this would be easy...guess Im not supposed to watch TV while camping...
Any other suggestions?

Please help me understand what is going on. You have a antenna that you bought, have it set up and plugged into the side cable port of the camper? Is this correct? If that is what you are doing, try turning the booster off and then scan the channels. Jay

Are you even in range of a broadcasting station? If you’re not sure, check with neighbors to see if they’re receiving tv signals over the air? Since we have no idea where you are, this question is important, although, it may seem dumb.

If you are using the outside connections I don't think the booster will help. The reason you need to turn it off when connected to cable is it interferes with the signal that is just passing through. Can you temporarily connect the ant to the TV directly? If that works you may need to move some connections around.

Not currently at RV, but did have the Booster on. I will try it off next time we are there.
Yes, we do get signal. We are currently in a park where many others are very happy with this set up.
Thank you

2020 24RBS External antenna issue

My 2020 24RBS has only an external Jack for CABLE. Other TTS have cable and satellite. I have tried all combinations of booster on off etc and scanning detects no channels.

I think it has something to do with it being a cable Jack where maybe the controller expects to see input on channel 3?

Any idea how to make external antenna work with only a cable Jack outside the TT ?
