Fiberglass LP tanks

I'm curious about these tanks but wonder if the bases are the same as the steel tanks. Anyone have experience with the fiberglass ones?

News to me. Can you expand on exactly what you have, etc.

I have never heard of fiberglas LP tanks.

I have seen notices posted at several filling facilities stating they do NOT fill fiberglass tanks. They are on the market but I have never seen one.

I've seen ones that are clear or translucent so that you can see the level inside. Boat owners like them because steel rusts and aluminum corrodes in a salt air environment.
If they have a DOT certification and date stamp, they should be fillable, but some may afraid of what they don't know.

I don't know the exact company name but I think there was a recall on one of those brands. I saw the actual recall notice (so I am not trying to spread rumors) but just can't remember the name.

Good thing I never purchased one of these...since the emergency recall of the lite tanks.
