Has anyone had an opportunity to use this tool?

I have been looking it over and think the idea is solid. Pricing is a bit steep IMO.

Neat looking tool and very versatile but not worth that much money to me.

Half that price I might consider it, but not for what they are asking. It looks pretty cool, but you know it's not going to have a long life poking and moving wood around.

We took an old golf club cut the head off of it and welded on a "V" bit of metal to work as a fire poker... worked well now for 5 years.

I use a set of scissor type fire tongs from Menards. Only cost $5.00, but only available during fireplace season.

For $79.00? Nah, I'll pass. Maybe if I hit on the Lottery. The only advantage to this tool I can see (other than making your wallet $79.00 lighter) is that you only need to have one tool instead of several. If you're a veteran camper, you already possess most, if not all, of these tools already, which makes the purchase unnecessary unless you want something to impress your friends with.

I only visited the website and watched the video. While the tool appears to be high-quality, I couldn't find anything that said where it was made. These days, when products are made in USA, that fact is usually made known practically "in lights", so it makes me suspicious that it's not made in the US.

Hoped they washed the tongs off between the time they used them to pickup non-food and food items.

I think the video would have had more of an impact if the girl performing the demonstration had been wearing a top that said "Fire-Stick" rather than "Green Bay Packers". Makes me wonder whether the Packers have a vested interest in the product.

I wonder if they've sold more than a couple of these. Especially for $75. Good luck to them.
Looks very impractical to me...especially for turning a hot dog!
We use our home's fireplace tongs to adjust logs and things that we already have - spatula, leather oven mitt, etc. for moving food and pots.
Don't want more heavy gadgets to haul and store.

Funny! I was kind of getting a vibe that these were being made by a couple as a cottage industry business. Guess I'll just keep using my trusty colapsable army shovel till it dies...going on 25 years so far.
