You mentioned that trailer is 55 deg. The fridge needs to be in room temperature or close to it. The FIRST thing you should do is warm it up to room temp and see if it works.

Okay. I will do that. It was up to 65 this past weekend while we were camping but I will warm it up more just to see.

Are you aware that this is a compressor refrigerator? Most efficient temp is from 60 to 80F. But 55F is not an issue.

The fridge compartment only needs a very little run time to satisfy the fridge temp, from 55 deg to 40 deg, which in turn shuts all the cooling off so the freezer does not get enough run time to freeze. Some older models had temp sensing in freezer so it would freeze, however the bottom compartment would also freeze. This is mostly why they use the fridge compartment to regulate temp. Bottom line is low ambient temp freezer doesn't work. Also much easier to warm trailer up and see if freezer works that take everything apart
