Fresh water overfill raises floor

I just purchased a 2005 Greyhawk 31SS. When I filled the fresh water tank the floor inside started to raise up in the center when it was almost full. Is there an overfill outlet or vent that should prevent this? if yes where is it?
Thanks for any help

Yes, but I have a few questions. Do you have a gravity fill port? or do you have a command center where you have to flip a few valves to fill the tank?

When your tank is full any extra water should pour out of the overflow/vent line under the MH. I suspect someone has added an extra valve under the MH. This can cause a LOT of damage if the valve is not open during the filling and emptying process. Crawl under your new MH and look for a single tubing/pipe hanging down and see if there is a valve hanging off of the end, open it. Adding this valve is the easy way to address an issue some people have with the tank siphoning out after it is filled. There are better solutions, but take more effort to implement.

I have to open a valve under bathroom sink and attach hose to connection outside MH. I think it is gravity fill, but not sure

Gravity fill port; you shove the end of the hose into a large hole and let gravity fill the tank.

Command Center fill; You connect your garden hose to the side of the MH, depending on what you want to do, you flip 1 or 2 valves to directly use city water connection or fill the FW tank.

There should be at least 4 pipes/hoses hanging down, sometimes they can be hard to see. There are 2 low point drains next to each other that stick out the floor. Often these are under your bathroom sink, and they are to drain the hot/cold water pipes. Under the unit (usually) there is a cheap plastic white valve that will drain your FW tank. Lastly, there will be a overflow/vent tube (1/2") to ensure your FW tank can breath.

You may want to grab your vin number, reach out to Jayco, and ask for the water distribution schematic. It might help you locate the valves.

Got drawings from Jayco, don't really help. They are schematic and don't show vent. Really need someone that is familiar with this model knows.

Sorry about the Jayco specs not being up to snuff. Like the others have said, mine are easy to see. They're right next to the FW tank and are open PEX tubes pointing at the ground. I think I have three.

You'd think a puff of air from the compressor (<40psi!) would be enough to dislodge a plug.

Smile

Found the overfill vent, and it was crimped, so I had to replace it.

Thanks for your response and help..
