Furrion Universal Remote Fireplace Controls

Hello,

We have a Furrion TV and a Furrion Fireplace (the long horizontal one with clear stones in the bottom). The fireplace came with a separate remote, but it also appears the TV remote has fireplace controls across the bottom. I have tried pressing the fireplace/TV button at the top, but the controls on the TV remote do not activate the fireplace. Is there a pairing procedure or something I need to do to get the fireplace controls on the TV remote to work with the fireplace?

Anxious to hear the responses.........I've never been able to get my TV remote to operate the fireplace.
