Garmin/Fusion GPS dock

Having issues with my dock not talking with WiFi with the garmin pad, no lights on dock buttons, just upgraded dock and GPS, anything to check, is three a way to reset the dock software without the use of the GPS?

Have you checked the user's manual? It is on-line if you do not have a paper copy.



There are also a number of threads on that unit that you can find by using the search feature in the golden bar at the top of the page. Pretty much all of us have problems with it and mine is about to be replaced for something that works better/easier.

Yes, I searched other threads, and the owners manual, what replacement unit would be the closest in function?

Kenwood DDX9707S in my plan at this point.


I really don't like the "functions" of that unit and it is difficult to operate. Too many moving parts to make things work. The above, and it is not the only unit that will work, has Apple Play/Google Play and functions that work with your phone. Most GPS units today need map updates and other annoying fiddling.



Times are changing with most every app you need on your phone which can connect to and be viewed on your head unit.
