Not sure if you got a generator yet or not, but I noticed that Costco Canada is listing the Champion™ 3100W Inverter Generator on the web page again. BUT is does say that there is none in stock but can be pre purchased on back order with an expected shipping date between 06/22/2015 and 06/26/2015.

Thank you for the info. I have ordered one from Costco, hopefully it won't be too long a delivery. In the Mean time a friend of mine gave me an old yamaha 2600 that needed a little TLC to get it running. It will hold me over until I get the 3100. Not much need for AC yet in this part of the world anyway.

I visited my local Costco in Ontario and had a look at these generators. The ones in stock were different than the one showed online. The one online shows the 30amp RV style outlet while the one in store has some other style of 30amp outlet which would not accommodate my plug in. Not really sure what it's designed for...

I finally received the Champion 3100 inverter generator from Costco. I tried it this past weekend and it worked like a charm.

I have the Champion 3100 Invertor genny and although they are made in China, it ran great for me last week when I was camping. I got comments how quiet it was and asked where I purchased it. There was another camper with a large Travel trailer that ran the Champion 3500/4000 contractor genny and that one was loud enough for me to hear 6 campsites away and I pitied the campers next to them, very similiar to the Champion 3500 I just recently sold because it was too loud and I wanted one that was safe for electronics. I paid $799.00 for my Champion 3100 a year ago and they are now $899.00.
