Next build a discharger to bottom balance the LiFePO4 cells. Discharger consists of four 50W/0.5 ohm power resistors mounted on a heat sink. I’ll reduce each cell voltage to 2.5V.

Bottom balance cells for a 24V battery bank takes time (8 x 6 hrs). But the rewards are worth it! Reminds me of an old snickers commercial lol https://youtu.be/WPOZbG7ibEE

Well I’m still in bottom balance mode, adding passive balance to equalize voltage across the cells before charging to 90% capacity.

Love the big "24V" sticker. Very smart idea.

After 12 hour rest the battery is about 90% SOC. The cell voltages are; 3.325, 3.326, 3.326, 3.327, 3.324, 3.324, 3.326, 3.326. This is my charge limit without a BMS.

Battery in, space is at a premium for the 640W/280AH solar system in a small cubicle but doable! It’ll power the TT (no generator) in the boondocks. ...next complete system wiring and test.

Though the 184BH is solar powered (no generator), I’ll use propane heat when necessary.
...I installed a Mr. Heater (MH9BX), checked for leaks and all’s good. Though the unit has safety features for inside use, I added a shutoff valve and CO detector. It’s very efficient and popular amongst RVers.
As for performance, it cranks in my 20’ TT (on low)! I may have to test it at the North Pole. Lol
I estimate two 20 Lbs propane tanks will last 2 months. The heater is for day use only and a 24V electric blanket for sleeping.

The solar install is complete, ready to test! The 640W/280AH system occupies a 2.5' x 3' space.

I’ll turn-on the inverter next. And because the system is somewhat oversized (inverter, converter, SCC, wire), l haven’t noticed any heat dissipation. Of course I’m testing and not in the real world.

I've been reading about hot connections on high power systems between fittings due to insufficient torque. They are all different and I try to check them all.

All AC/DC systems are a go. Battery is strong and solar charges quickly.

Preparing for launch...check electrical, plumbing, load cargo. On the road, I’ll start a new thread detailing solar performance.
