Hats Off To Westland Sales - Splendide Washer

I washed some cleaning rags a few days ago (I should have thrown them away). At least one of the rags came apart and plugged up the lint discharge of my washer. It would not dry and set a fault code.

I called Westland Sales well before their normal office hours and left a message with my washer/dryer model number, serial number, and fault code. Within about a hour after they opened I received a phone call from San Saechao with Westland. He said he received my information and if I could give him my email address he would send me instructions on how to clear my plugged system with no parts or removing the unit required. I was a bit skeptical, but was willing to try it.

The email arrived in a few seconds and I started the process. Here is what I was instructed to do:

1. Start the unit without clothes and with the dry time off on cycle # 11. When the water stops entering the unit push and hold the start button until all the lights come on then release the button. *NOTE: If the water is not at least half way up the glass repeat this step.

2. Move the cycle knob to cycle # 2 push the extra rinse button then press the start button once (do not hold) then let it run through that complete cycle.

Do this 3 times then try the dryer.

It took a while for the washer to go through 3 cycles with extra rinse, but it solved the problem. The plug was cleaned out and my unit works perfectly again.

As I said in my subject line above: Hats Off To Westland Sales
