HELP - Dangling Wires on our 17Z

Hi Gang,

We're getting ready to take our 17Z on her maden voyage this coming weekend. I happen to look under the TT and found 3 white wires just hanging near the rear axle on the driver side. They come out of a harness along the frame & axle and go into a single brass connector. They bolt going throught the connector is sheared off.

I found what I believe to be the rest of the bolt broken off in the frame. I cleaned the frame up, drilled a new hole and re-attached the wires to the frame making sure I have a good connection!

My questions to this great group are: I believe these to be ground wires and should be attached to the frame? Also, what do you guys think these wires are for? My interior lights, running lights and brake lights all worked while sitting in front of the house.

We bought this camper at an RV Show and the dealer is almost two hours from us. So I figured I'd just fix it myself and wanting to make sure I did the right thing.

As always, I appreciate the great advise everyone here gives us.

White is standard for DC ground on trailers.

Thanks for the feedback guys! I figured they were ground, but what I'm surprise about is the fact that I had interior lights working with 3 ground wires not connected. Interesting! Thanks again!
